FAQ & Interesting Info

Why we are different from other Hunts?

A focus on storytelling. Bringing the house’s history to life before attempting communication with those long passed. Alongside tested methods of ghost communication using both ancient spiritual & modern-day tools.

Why are dates and times missing when booking?

When a date or time slot is missing in the Booking Calendar, then that hunt date is sold out

Is this a Jump-Scare or Traditional Hunt?

It’s a Traditional Ghost Hunt. Featuring stories & a ghost hunt similar to those on TV. Nothing is setup. All experiences, if they happen, are real! This is not a scare “haunted house”.

General History of the Ireland House

Completed in 1837, Ireland House is Burlington’s oldest surving house and link to its settler past.

Joseph Ireland, an English immigrant and prominent farmer, chose the rising slope along Guelph Line to build his homestead.

A sturdy house in a land cut out of time for Burlington, as it transformed from rural frontier to modern city. Generations of the Ireland family lived here for almost 150 years!

Leaving behind furniture, diaries, tools, and everyday stuff now forming one of the most complete historic homes around.

Including a Human Hair Wreath …

The last Ireland descendant left in 1985. Leaving the house as a time capsule.

Today, Ireland House stands as a museum preserving this family history. From its original 1830s kitchen to its later Victorian additions. You’ll have rare night access to the home, connecting to its history.

And to the Ireland family …
