Toronto centric episode. Starting with the city’s most popular mayor, and one of Canada’s biggest villains, William Lyon Mackenzie. Leader of the 1837 failed Rebellion. Toronto’s first mayor. But before all that, he lived in Dundas… now a part of the city of Hamilton.
Dundas, a strong part of Loyalist history in Canada. Known as a rebel’s town, from supporting the Confederacy during the American Civil War, to helping Mackenzie after the Rebellion. Rumoured to have hidden in a cave on Sydenham Hill.
Then, Daniel jumps over to his former house in Toronto. Now considered one of the most haunted places in Canada. One of many stories, from the time of a caretaker named Mr. Charles Edmunds. That time when they heard the piano playing… from the palour, in the middle of the night.
A sensitive sent in a detailed email of impressions from Ancaster’s Hermitage Ruins. Daniel goes over each one, attempting to connect it to history and ghost stories. Finally, a description of the infamous William Black. Also, knowing the tour groups aren’t hated.
Then, Daniel opens up about a personal experience with a psychic from Toronto, named Jim Hunt. The time this man blew his belief right open with a simple question, “Do you know Lily?”
Her connection to his past. And the possible spirit of the twin he always wanted.

Daniel’s experience…
20 years in the paranormal world. From being an investigator, to collecting stories… and then to telling them!
He’s been telling tales of dark history and ghosts to large groups since 2003. Continues to this day, with a renewed interest in the traditional art of storytelling.
The Podcast isn’t scripted! Doesn’t mean Daniel sacrifices his style. It’s a challenge he’s accepted many times before … how to mix (in the moment) realism and storytelling to make the stories interesting.
Because if they’re boring, who’d want to listen.
