Why I Hate Ghost Fakery | How the Skeptics Win

Fake ghosts get to me. And it hit me while listening to the Joe Rogen Podcast.  For the first time I can remember, he had on paranormal investigators. Never heard of these fellows before listening to that show. 

Their names are Sam and Colby.  Well known and followed on YouTube by millions.  They go to the most haunted places to search for ghosts.

So, why was my BS sense going off the entire time.

Francis Rattenbury | An Extraordinary Murder Story

On Sunday, March 24th in 1935, Francis Rattenbury, a respected Victoria, British Columbia Architect was murdered inside his drawing room.  The floor covered with blood and debris.

They thought it was dust in the blood.  Was actually his skull and brain fragments.  And in the corner, broken false teeth.



Turned out, Rattenbury was still alive!  They called for help and rushed him to the hospital.  It’s there he’d die 4 days later. 

This is the story of what led to his brutal murder.

Fort Mississauga History in Niagara on the Lake | A Hidden Haunt

In all of Fort Mississauga history, it never saw a shot fired.  Built in 1814 after the Americans left Niagara-on-the-Lake and Upper Canada.

Fort George was in ruins. The British rushed to building this Fort to discourage a second attack from the Americans. 

Soldiers remained on-duty here until 1840. Today, the fort is located at the back of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Course.

He was our famous General. Successfully defended British Canada against the Americans during the War of 1812.
